Detroit Pistons vs. Miami Heat: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Zac Snyder
The Detroit Pistons host the Miami Heat in the regular season home finale but know they have more games to play at The Palace in the playoffs.
Tonight marks the final home game of the Detroit Pistons regular season schedule but they play it knowing that it won’t be their final home game of the season. With a playoff berth secured, the Pistons can play free of pressure in the final two regular season games as they try to beat out the Indiana Pacers for the seventh seed in the Easter Conference playoffs.
The odds of finishing better than the eighth seed in the East are low, but Stan Van Gundy has said the team will give it a shot instead of resting players.
That could change as the Pacers could wrap up the seventh seed with a win or Pistons loss tonight, but at least the home crowd at The Palace will get to see the regulars play in one more game before the playoffs begin.
The Heat will also be playing their regular rotation as they are still in a fight for home-court advantage for the first round of the playoffs. Not all late season games feature two teams motivated to play but that should be the case tonight.
