Detroit Pistons at Cleveland Cavaliers Game 2: Start Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Zac Snyder
The Detroit Pistons used a hot-shooting effort to push the Cleveland Cavaliers but still came away down 0-1 in the series in game 1. Can they steal game 2?
No current Detroit Pistons were on the roster the last time the team made the playoffs and despite being a young group overall, they didn’t look out of place in game one of their first round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
That’s a testament to the players and Stan Van Gundy but it still wasn’t enough as the Pistons fell 106-101 in game one. The result can be taken one of two ways. One, the Pistons can definitely hang with the Cavs to make this a compelling series. Or two, the Pistons gave the Cavs their best shot in game one and it still wasn’t enough.
Considering the way the regular season series, even removing the finale in which both teams ran out “JV” lineups, played out, there is reason to believe the Pistons really are a tough matchup for the Cavs and that the series should remain competitive.
That still may not be enough for an eight seed upset of the regular season conference champion, but it would represent an nice stepping stone in the team’s progression under the direction of Van Gundy.
Here is all the important info you need for game two tonight.
