The NFL draft is fast approaching, and Detroit Lions fans are eager for their favorite time of year. With many needs to fill, the possibilities are endless.

The Detroit Lions have pressing needs at defensive tackle, defensive end, offensive tackle, and linebacker, with slightly less pressing needs at safety, center, wide receiver, and running back.

So Detroit could go in several directions during the draft, including possibly trading up or down, as they have ten draft picks worth of ammunition to work with.

How will new GM Bob Quinn make his mark on the Lions in his first draft with the team? Only time will tell, but it is guaranteed to be an exciting and important time for Lions fans come late April.
