MLB Power Rankings: 21-25

Last Week: 25. Milwaukee Brewers . 25. player. 76. Dropping 2 out of 3 against the Phillies and struggling with the Twins kind of gives us a good idea where the Brewers sit. 3 of their 5 starting pitchers have an ERA of over 7, which tells you all you need to know about this staff. Wins are going to be hard to come by all season.. 8-11

21. The start for Ace <a href=. 9-10. Last Week: 23. Tampa Bay Rays . 24. player

9-10. Last Week: 24. Philadelphia Phillies . 23. player. 6. The Phillies continue to slowly climb up the rankings as they are seeing some good results from their young talent. Unlike the Braves, this team is not an easy win and continues to battle against some of the better teams in the league. They could be a team that flirts with staying around .500 all season.

The Reds were able to make the headlines this past week after being no-hit by Jake Arietta and the Cubs. The Cubs outscored them by an amazing 33-1 score in 3 of the 4 games they played while Cincinnati blew up for 13 runs in the 4th game. The talent and firepower is there for this team to succeed, but inconsistency will plague them all year long.. 9-11. Last Week: 22. Cincinnati Reds . 22. player. 61

8-10. Last Week: 17. New York Yankees . 21. player. 43. Passionate Yankee fans might not be a huge fan of my dislike of this team as they continue to slide quickly down the rankings. The truth is this is a team that hasn’t aged well. You are seeing Mark Teixiera and A-Rod look exactly like they are, older versions of their former dominate selves. I don’t see this team as a playoff contender.
