So I couldn’t wait any longer to grab the player whom I consider to be the biggest sleeper in the 2016 draft. David Morgan II is highly underrated and exactly what the Lions are looking for in a tight end. I wrote 2,000 words on why I think he’s the perfect tight end for the Lions here.

At 6’4″, 262 pounds, Morgan’s NFL size and skill set would allow him to immediately step into the Lions third tight end role in 2016. His upside projects him to be the Lions number two tight end in 2017. Morgan’s game tape shows he wins within the 5-10 yard range, uses his solid hands and big body to win contested catches, and blocks like extra offensive lineman. His versatility makes him a player I think Quinn will covet.

A player I consider worthy of any pick on day three, he’s a steal here in the sixth round.
