Shon Coleman has been constantly compared to Greg Robinson – the former Auburn lineman who was drafted 2nd overall by the Rams in the 2014 draft.

Coleman doesn’t have the same natural athleticism as Robinson, but he is a big prospect with plenty of natural talent and abilities. He uses his hands well, packing a punch and playing with power. He also plays with a chip on his shoulder.

Coleman needs work on his footwork, as he sometimes overuses his hands in attempt to cover up such weaknesses.

In addition to his physical abilities, his mental toughness and character is held in high regard, as Coleman came back from (and defeated) cancer after a two year battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
