A Detroit Lions Offensive Line Prospect For Every Round of the NFL Draft
By Eli Kaplan
Last year, the Detroit Lions spent a 7th round pick on a large developmental offensive line prospect named Corey Robinson. Robinson didn’t see the field at right tackle, even though the Lions had a revolving door at that position for much of the season.
This year they could take a shot at drafting a similar prospect by the name of Brandon Shell. If Shell’s last name sounds familiar it’s because his uncle is hall of famer Art Shell.
Like Corey Robinson, he is also a huge right tackle prospect from South Carolina.
While, Brandon won’t exactly remind anyone of his uncle, he is a large man – you can’t teach size – with skills to develop into a starter down the road.
