MLB Power Rankings: 16-20

21. The Rays were a team I highlighted last week as moving in the right direction after a great week prior. They followed that up by being swept by the Mariners and also losing a weekend series to the A’s. Despite some really strong pitching from all 5 members of their starting rotation, the Rays haven’t been able to consistently get hits. They are currently dead last in baseball in team batting average.. 17-19. Last Week: 18. Tampa Bay Rays . 20. player

player. 63. Another ulgy week saw the Tigers 5 of the 7 games they played. Granted the Nationals are one of the elite teams in baseball. Max Scherzer’s historic 20 strikeout game meant that manager <a href=. 17-21. Last Week: 17. Detroit Tigers . 19

player. 108. The Rockies had a pretty solid week capped off by sweeping the Mets at Coors Field. Surprsingly, they have been a better road team this season as they are now 11-8 on the road while only being 8-10 at Coors. Nolan Arenado continues to lead the league in home runs and is sitting 4th in RBI’s.. 19-18. Last Week: 20. Colorado Rockies . 17

Miami Marlins . 16. player. 82. <a href=. 21-17. Last Week: 14
