Michigan will host the #15 Missouri Tigers (in a best of three series), in which the winner will advance to the NCAA Women’s College World series.
The Game Schedule
- Game One of the series will is on Saturday at 3:00 and can be seen on ESPN.

The Wolverines are two wins away from their twelfth trip to the World Series, and third in the last four years. Michigan will rely on the two-time Big Ten pitcher of the year, Megan Besta, to take the circle this weekend and continue her lights out pitching. Besta can, at times, be overlooked because Michigan’s offense has been so dominate.
Besta and her Michigan teammates have already faced Missouri earlier this year, resulting in a 13-0 victory.

Michigan head coach Carol Hutchins believes this will be a different Missouri team though and she’s probably right.
Missouri has been rolling through the tournament so far, outscoring their opponents 26-0 in three victories.
Behind Hutchins, the winningest head coach in NCAA softball history, a dominating pitcher in Besta, and the nation’s top offense, Michigan will push Missouri’s shut-out streak and look to secure another trip to the NCAA Women’s College World Series.
