MLB Power Rankings: 26-30

Minnesota Twins . 30. player. 2. I keep waiting for either the Twins or the Braves to do something good or bad to distinguish themselves as the worst team in baseball. The Twins have opened the month of June by losing 4 out of 5 including 3 of 4 against a very average Tampa Bay team. Pitching is the biggest culprit as the twins are 28th in ERA but their hitting hasn’t been good either as they currently sit 27th in runs scored despite having a lineup with decent pop.. 17-40. Last Week: 30

player. 17. A couple weeks in a row locked in at 29 is a positive sign for these Atlanta Braves, who currently sit tied with the Twins at 16 wins. The Braves have started June dropping 5 of their 6 games but did face the Dodgers and Giants. Their offensive problems and lack of power continue to be interesting in their own right. <a href=. 16-42. Last Week: 29. Atlanta Braves . 29

61. The title of worst bullpen ever assembled has been tossed around of late to describe these Reds. They have already set one new major league baseball record and that was for allowing at least one run in 23 straight games. The next record that they have in sight is the worst all-time ERA from a bullpen, one that they currently are pacing to break.. 22-36. Last Week: 28. Cincinnati Reds . 28. player

San Diego Padres . 27. player. 127. A 4-2 start to open this month has the Padres headed in the right direction as they are able to take advantage of a three game set with the Braves this week. The lineup seems to have improved considerably with the addition of Yangervis Solarte, who is hitting .329 and has 16 RBI’s in the 20 games he has appeared in.. 25-35. Last Week: 27

The A’s have been slumping in a big way but do get the advantage of seeing both the Brewers and the Reds on their upcoming schedule. The A’s have been pretty bad offensively but have been sneaky bad pitching with a staff that was expected to be better than average. They currently sit 26th in ERA and have 6 starters that have started 5 or more games with an ERA of 5.49 or higher.. 25-33. Last Week: 25. Oakland Athletics . 26. player. 96
