MLB Power Rankings: 21-25

player. 8. Even after winning a series over the weekend at home with the Marlins, the D-Backs are not a team headed in a positive direction. They are now 9 games under .500 and have yet to really rattle off any sort of win streak this season. They quielty are moving up the rankings in strikeouts which is surprising considering they are in the top three for total hits yet in the top 5 for number of strikeouts.. 29-37. Last Week: 24. Arizona Diamondbacks . 25

24. player. 102. The Angels have three wins in June. They have allowed 5 or more runs in 7 of their 11 games this month so far. Jared Weaver is still employed as a Major League Baseball starting pitcher, equipped with a fastball that tops out at 87 mph. Its a shame to see <a href=. 27-37. Last Week: 22. Los Angeles Angels

29-32. Last Week: 23. Tampa Bay Rays . 23. player. 21. The Rays have been lucky with the schedule this month so far facing three teams with sub .500 records. They are 7-4 so far this month, but haven’t exactly been winning these games in convincing fashion. Evan Longoria has been on fire though, hitting .336 with 9 home runs over the past 30 days. The Rays will need him to stay hot once their schedule gets a bit more difficult.

76. The Brewers are sneaking up on having a .500 record here as they have played much better ball the past couple of weeks. They are also 7-4 in the month of June and have been getting better pitching from a couple of the young arms on their staff. On the season, they are 22nd in baseball in team ERA, but have jumped all the way up to 7th so far this month.. 30-34. Last Week: 25. Milwaukee Brewers . 22. player

21. player. 108. Another team that has gotten suprisingly strong pitching over the past couple weeks has been the Rockies. Having half of their games in the hitters paradise that is Coors field, their pitching staff numbers rarely look very good. <a href=. 30-33. Last Week: 21. Colorado Rockies
