MLB Power Rankings: 26-30

player. 2. The Twins are doing their best to distance themselves from the Braves as the clear-cut worst team in baseball so far this season. They are currently 9-15 in the month of June and continue to be one of the most underwhelming teams in baseball. The bats have been a little better of late, but its really too late to make much of anything with this season. They will continue to develop their young talent and most likely be players in trade discussions from here on out as they have some valuable veterans that could help other teams.. 24-51. Last Week: 29. Minnesota Twins . 30

29. player. 61. The Reds enter the discussion now among the worst teams in baseball after they recently split a series to the Braves as well as losing three out of four to a bad Padres team. Their pitching has just been atrocious and it really just comes down to that. They don’t have a single reliable starter and one of the all-time worst bullpens.. 29-48. Last Week: 26. Cincinnati Reds

Last Week: 28. Oakland Athletics . 28. player. 96. Quietly piling up losses are these A’s, using a roster than most people outside of Oakland would recognize. Jake Smolinkski, <a href=. 33-43

127. Not many people would guess that the Padres are currently in the top 5 in all of baseball for team batting average in June. This is a far cry from where they started out this season. <a href=. 33-44. Last Week: 27. San Diego Padres . 27. player

26-50. Last Week: 30. Atlanta Braves . 26. player. 17. I didn’t think I would see a point this season where the Braves were anything but 29th or 30th, but they certainly have earned this big jump in the rankings. They have now won 8 of their last 11 including 4 wins against a solid NYM squad. Freddie Freeman’s bat has woken up and it seems like the rest of the Braves have followed. <a href=
