<a href=. 40-37. Last Week: 17. Houston Astros . 15. player. 135

Pittsburgh Pirates . 14. player. 4. Prior to this past weekend’s series with the Dodgers, the Pirates had really been slumping losing 12 of their last 14 games. The pitching has really been terrible as <a href=. 37-40. Last Week: 10

Enough is not being made about just how good Clayton Kershaw has been this season. Of course he has a long track record of success so most people probably aren’t too surprised just how good he has been. Last season Kershaw was nothing short of fabulous ending with a 16-7 record with a 2.13 ERA. This season he currently sits at 11-2 with a 1.79 ERA. He is holding opposing batters to a career low .185 batting average.. 42-36. Last Week: 14. Los Angeles Dodgers . 13. player. 71

player. 7. Kansas City has been absolutely dominate at home this season with a 27-10 record at Kauffman Stadium. The problem has been on the road and they have been extremely hot and cold this season. Their starting pitching has been exposed on a regular basis the past few weeks and that looms as the one major issue with this team’s construction.. 40-35. Last Week: 13. Kansas City Royals . 12

The Cards stepped their game up and caught the Cubs at the right time earning a sweep at Wrigley Field, something that is extremely tough to do this year with this Cubs team. However, they were swept by the Rangers prior to that series and also dropped a series to the Mariners after that. They kind of seem like they are stuck in cruise control at this point in the season.. 39-36. Last Week: 11. St. Louis Cardinals . 11. player. 32
