D.J. Augustin

The Pistons could look to one of their old point guard to be their new backup point guard. They traded D.J. Augustin to the Oklahoma City Thunder to acquire Reggie Jackson and it makes sense to bring him back as the person to back up Jackson.

The Thunder went on to move Augustin to the Denver Nuggets and he reportedly would be interested in staying with the Nuggets, but he figures to receive considerable interest from quite a few teams in need of a backup point guard.

That could push the price tag north of what the Pistons want to pay and they will to weigh the cost of overpaying for Augustin versus whatever the cost would be for a lesser option.
