Number 3. Mikkel Boedker – Right Wing, 26 years old

A guy who is just about to enter his prime could be a good fit for the Red Wings. Boedker has yet to score 20 goals in a season but he is only 26-years old.

He has spent the majority of his career with the Arizona Coyotes before getting traded to the Colorado Avalanche.

He’s testing out the free agent market and I’m sure he has a lot of interest from teams. This guy has a lot of potential and will be a cheaper alternative to my number one free agent target.

Boedker could be a really good pickup for the Red Wings if they can sign him and I think he helps the Red Wings get a little bit younger as well.
