Biggest Flop – Anibal Sanchez

With the Tigers holding a team ERA of nearly 5 and Michael Fulmer dazzling, you know there has to be some high ERA’s in this group somewhere.

Sanchez takes the hit here as being the most disappointing Tiger at the break. He has appeared in 22 games this season and has 10 losses to go along with a 6.75 ERA. He has really struggled with the long ball this year after giving up an astounding 29 home runs last season.

Despite having a home run problem last year, he was still able to make 25 starts and pick up 10 wins. He wasn’t outstanding by any means last year, but nobody expected his fall from grace this year. This is a guy that was 14-8 in 2013 with a 2.57 ERA. He has the ability to be a strong starter for this team but it doesn’t seem like its going to happen at any point this season.

Honorable Mention – Justin Upton, Mike Pelfrey
