Center

1. Travis Swanson
2. Graham Glasgow

The Lions’ 2014 third round pick against their 2016 third round pick will be one of the more intriguing position battles to watch during training camp. Glasgow got off to a slow start, taking reps behind not only Swanson but Gabe Ikard as well. He seems to have shaken that off and should enter training camp to battle for the starting job as expected.

With Swanson a holdover from the previous front office and Glasgow a member of Bob Quinn’s first draft class, it sure feels like Swanson’s days as the Lions’ starting center are numbered but that doesn’t mean it will be right away.

Swanson figures to go into training camp as the favorite to start but he will have to hold off Glasgow to be the starter week one in Indianapolis. Ikard could also push for a roster spot, although that might require the Lions keeping ten offensive linemen.
