Right Guard

1. Larry Warford
2. Geoff Schwartz

The Lions find themselves in a similar position at right guard as they have at left guard. Larry Warford has more experience and is more entrenched as a starter than Tomlinson but is still a young player in his own right.

Warford is still trying to regain the form he had as a breakout rookie but he should be one of the team’s best lineman in 2016. He has played 13 games in each of the past two seasons and if he can’t go a full schedule again this year, Schwartz is once again the best option to fill in, just as he is at left guard.

Schwartz’s veteran presence and versatility makes him an underrated free agent signing to add to an otherwise young offensive line group.
