Final Thoughts

This year’s Madden Lions team is only okay, in large part because of the lack of star power at the top of the roster and the lack of depth at several positions, but it is still a decent team that should be playable in a competitive NFC North.

While we will not be desperately spamming the circle/B button to Calvin in long yardage situations this year, the offense boasts a diverse enough group of playmakers to run different packages and formations with ease, and the defense has a few strong players that can turn opponents over.

The offensive line is pretty weak and the secondary lacks depth, but this year’s Lions are nothing like the terrible Madden 10 team (the second-worst in Madden history) and should be competitive enough to play against your buddy who picks the Patriots because of course he does.
