University of Central Florida Knights

September 10, UCF at Michigan, 12:00, ABC/ESPN

Former Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost takes over as UCF’s head coach after last years’ winless season. Frost orchestrated a no-huddle, high flying, spread offense in Eugene, and he’s installing it here for the Knights.

Returning quarterback Justin Holman is recovered from last year’s broken finger and likely returns to his starting role. He has some talent around him, but the main question will be, how quickly can they adapt to this new system.

Not only is UCF drastically changing their offense, but they are also overhauling their defense by switching to a 3-4 scheme. With concerns in their front seven, this group looks to be a major weakness for this team.

Prediction:

UCF is better than last year’s record, but with so many changes and questions on a young team, it’s hard to expect them to put up much of a fight in Ann Arbor.

Michigan wins (2-0)
