Week 8 – at Houston Texans

Honestly, I’m not quite sure what to make of the Texans. I’m not sure that throwing the kind of money they did at Brock Osweiler is a perfect solution to their quarterback situation but it is an improvement after Brian Hoyer, T.J. Yates, Ryan Mallett and Brandon Weeden all started games for the Texans last season.

They’ve invested draft picks to build their receiver corps and I like the addition of Lamar Miller. With a good defense, I don’t have to fully buy in to the Texans to see this as a tough game for the Lions to come out of with a win.

Prediction: Lions lose

Lions’ record: 5-3
