Geiger connected on a 40-yard field goal for the Spartans near the end of the quarter cut the lead to 13-6 at halftime.

After a 41-yard field goal by Andrew Endicott made it 23-6, a bad snap on a Michigan State punt gave the Badgers another short field which they turned into a six-yard touchdown run by Clement, his second of the game.
Brian Lewerke took over at quarterback for O’Connor near the end of the game, but it didn’t make a difference on the scoreboard as Wisconsin took home a 30-6 win.
