Football and especially fantasy football doesn’t always play out to the script after kickoff. If anyone remembers the movie Any Given Sunday, it sums it up pretty well. On any given Sunday in the NFL, you can win or you can lose. The Cleveland Browns, behind their third string rookie QB Cody Kessler, can give Miami everything they can handle putting up 24 points. The Falcons, going up against one of the clear worst defenses in the league, can score 45 points and gain 442 total yards while All-World WR Julio Jones contributed a single catch?

The Lions lose to the Packers. Ok, so there are a few things that go as planned.

It doesn’t always make sense and some of the most obvious things you would expect just don’t happen. I wrote up 6 WR’s last week that combined for 36 catches, 528 yards and 6 TD’s, and that included Julio Jones. I nailed WR’s last week but completely missed on guys like Carson Palmer and Matt Forte.

Football can be unpredictable, but you need to trust in the process that you have in place and use the numbers that give you an advantage over less informed players.

I have dug through the numbers this week and hope to have a couple less “misses” this time around. Let’s take a look at the picks!
