QUARTERBACK

Kirk Cousins ($7600) Redskins vs. Browns – You like that? After Captain Kirk signed a 1 year, $20 million dollar deal this off season, the expectations were high. Despite having some pretty good numbers on paper through three weeks, the Skins are 1-2 and there has been some questions around Cousins decision making. Despite all of that, he has a dream match up this week against the hapless Browns. The Washington offense looked better last week against the Giants and should have little issue moving the ball through the air against this secondary. Cousins is quietly averaging 329 yards per game passing and is set to easily top 300 again this week. If he adds 2-3 TD’s with that, he is an easy play at this price tag in Week 4. I like it.

Brian Hoyer ($6000) Bears vs. Lions – Hoyer is a veteran QB that has been around the league with a number of teams and is what he is at this point. Every time he has stepped in for an injured starter, he has provided solid if unspectacular QB play. He made his first start for the injured Jay Cutler last week and had a 317 yard day adding 2 TD’s. We all know this is a Lions team that struggles to stop anyone both on the ground and through the air as Aaron Rodgers made quick work of them last week. The Bears are a terrible team and I can easily see them playing from behind in this one. Either way, I like Hoyer’s chances for a couple more touchdowns with a near 300 yard day. For minimum salary, he is one of the top value plays of the week.

Phillip Rivers ($8500) Chargers vs. Saints – Its no secret that this Saints defense is one of the best ones in the league to pick on for daily fantasy production. Even though the Falcons ran all over them last week, they had no issue moving the ball through the air. Rivers disappointing many in week 3 failing to throw a TD pass in a great match up against the Colts. I think this is leading him to be a bit overlooked this week in one of the best match ups a QB can have. The Chargers are still a completely pass heavy offense as Rivers is putting up 33 attempts a game so far this season. Rivers doesn’t come with an extreme discount like the others, but has a good chance for a huge day.

Others I Like – Matthew Stafford ($8300), Trevor Siemian ($7400), Dak Prescott ($7200)
