Home Run #1

True Distance: 464
Hitter: Miguel Cabrera
Date: May 14, 2016
Opponent: Baltimore Orioles
Stadium: Camden Yards
Pitcher: Mike Wright

The farthest ball Miggy (and the Tigers) hit in 2016 came back in May, when Cabrera unloaded on Wright’s 93 mph fastball. The Orioles’ outfielders just turned and watched as the ball cleared both bullpens in left center field.

Cabrera’s no-doubter left his bat at 110.7 mph, and would have left all 30 major league ballparks.

“That is one of the farthest balls we’ve seen Miggy hit in that direction in awhile,” said an awestruck Rod Allen.
