Daeshon Hall
Senior
#10
Left Defensive End
6’5″, 260

Early Draft Projection = Top 100

A prototypical base 43 defensive end, Hall would be a nice fit at left defensive end in Detroit. Jeff Risdon commented, “Daeshon Hall is going to be very attractive for base 4-3 teams who cover length and power at the strongside end. He reminds me some of Detroit’s Devin Taylor.”

With great quickness off the snap, Hall accelerates quickly to full speed. He can bend the edge as well as win with power. Hall’s variety of pass rushing techniques as well as the ability to hold the edge is ideal in a defensive end.

Armani Watts
Junior
#23
Free Safety
5’11”, 200

Early Draft Projection = Top 100

Armani Watts had a terrific sophomore campaign, recording 126 tackles. Most attribute this high total due to poor play by the Aggies linebackers, but to his credit, he played all over the field to accumulate those numbers.

Mostly playing in a cover-2 scheme, he has shown coverage skills, as well as the ability to man center field. He’s also flashed special teams talent, including as a return man.

Like with Evans, Watts stock is on the rise. Draft history tells us, his size will likely keep him out of the day one draft conversation, but as he continues to perform, he may prove people wrong.
