Day 3 Seminoles

Nose Tackle Derrick Nnadi (#91, 6’1″, 303) is a strong inside presence who was predicted to breakout as a junior, but he has yet to fully capitalize on his sophomore year. He has upside and looks to be a future NFL player, but with only a mid-day three grade right now, it will likely be in his best interest to return to school. If he does declare, he likely won’t be on Detroit’s radar as he exhibits too many traits to similar players already on the team.

Senior strong safety Nate Andrews (#29, 5’11”, 210) is out for the season with an injured pectoral and the rumors are it could possibly be career ending. If he is able to recover, he will have two options: 1) it’s possible he will be awarded a medical redshirt by the NCAA and will return to school; or 2) he will move forward, looking to prove to NFL teams he’s healthy and can be the player he was a few years ago.

Andrews burst on the screen as a freshman and had a solid sophomore campaign, before taking a step back as a Junior. Now after missing his senior year, he is two full seasons removed from productivity. If he is healthy and able to participate in off-season activities, it’s possible he could sneak into the seventh round, but will more likely end up being a undrafted free agent.
