Detroit Red Wings vs. Bostons Bruins: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Mike Rizzo
The Detroit Red Wings return home tonight to face the Boston Bruins. While the Red Wings are red hot, the Bruins have lost three straight games.
The Detroit Red Wings, thanks to Petr Mrazek, beat the St. Louis Blues on Thursday for their sixth straight win. The Red Wings got bailed out by Mrazek as not only was he fantastic in regulation and overtime, but he was phenomenal in the shootout.
Kevin Shattenkirk opened the scoring in the second period and Frans Nielsen scored to tie the game for the Red Wings. The game was tied 1-1 until the shootout.
After the Blues took the lead in the shootout, Gustav Nyquist tied it up. The shootout ended up going eight rounds when finally Henrik Zetterberg scored the winner.
Even though Zetterberg scored the winning goal, this game was won by Mrazek. In the Red Wings six wins at least three of them were single-handily won by Mrazek or Jimmy Howard. This bodes really well for the Red Wings.
With the Bruins coming to town tonight having lost three straight it’s important for the Red Wings to get off to a fast start. The Red Wings also have yet to lose at the Joe.

With the Red Wings playing today and tomorrow, both Howard and Mrazek will play this weekend. No goalie has been announced as of this writing but I think Howard gets the start.
