QUARTERBACK

Jameis Winston ($7400) Buccaneers vs. Raiders – The Raiders have been the worst team against the pass all season and I don’t see any reason for that to change this week. They are allowing over 300 yards per game through the air and Winston has quietly had a nice season for the Bucs. Pairing him up with Mike Evans is a profitable strategy that worked last week and looks even better this week. Winston has shown a bit of a tendency to struggle in tougher match ups but has been great in the easy ones, go figure.

Carson Palmer ($7300) Cardinals @ Panthers – The death of Carson Palmer in daily fantasy football has been overblown in my mind. Maybe I am just a fan of Palmer, or don’t want to concede to the rest of the fantasy world. I don’t think Palmer has been that bad this season and I still think he has enough weapons in his offense to be a QB that you want in DFS. This week he takes on the once promising Carolina defense that has been shredded through the air this season. They currently rank 26th against the pass this season and really haven’t slowed anyone down. Even in last week’s absolutely brutal 6-6 tie with Seattle, Palmer still put up 342 yards passing against one of the best defenses in football.

Ryan Fitzpatrick ($7300) Jets @ Browns – I really hate to recommend a guy like Fitzpatrick who was all but forgotten in NY only to be put immediately back in the lineup after Geno Smith lasted less than a half as the starter. With Smith out and done, the Jets don’t have much of a choice but to go back to the interception prone Fitzpatrick. The match up this week is what pushes Fitz back into the picture as the Browns have been absolutely dreadful against the pass this season. You name a QB that has played against the Browns and you have great fantasy days from every single one of them. Fitzpatrick has been horrible this season, but this is a guy that threw 31 TD’s last season and should have a solid day.

Others I Like – Matt Ryan ($8500), Aaron Rodgers ($8800), Derek Carr ($7800)
