Last week we saw some amazing performances from guys that were slightly under the radar. Derek Carr was the one that burned me more than any though. I had written him up in my article as one of the potential QB’s that I liked, but then proceeded to put him in exactly zero of my lineups last week.

513 yards later with 4 TD’s to boot, Carr was easily the #1 QB on the week and won some huge tournaments for a number of people. This week, he gets to face a Denver defense that should make things a little tougher on him and he is completely off my radar.

The bottom line here is that the daily fantasy game is entirely based on matchup plays. The Tampa Bay defense was one that we like to pick on and Carr more than exploited that. However, the Denver defense is not one that I like to pick on and that makes Carr a tough sell. Ignore him this week and look to guys like Andrew Luck and Colin Kaepernick, guys who have much better match ups.

Let’s take a look at the picks for this week.
