RUNNING BACK

Ezekiel Elliott ($9200) Cowboys @ Browns – Elliott has absolutely lived up to the hype as a rookie averaging 114 yards per game through 7 starts. The Browns are giving up 143 yards rushing per game and have no chance whatsoever to slow down this Cowboys offense this weekend. I would love to write 4-5 more sentences to sell this play, but Elliott is one of the best RB’s in the game taking on the 31st ranked rush defense in the league. Yeah, this is a good spot for Zeke.

Darren Sproles ($4800) Eagles @ Giants – Sproles is a dynamic talent that can contribute in three ways as he has the ability to take a punt to the house at any point. The Eagles appear to be shifting more and more work towards Sproles and the inevitable failure of Ryan Mathews is making this happen. Sproles is averaging a nice 5 yards per carry while also contributing catching passes. Last week he saw a season high 15 carries for 86 yards while also catching 5 passes. There was talk this week about him “replacing” Mathews as their primary running back, even though it looks like it has already happened. Based on volume alone and an extremely cheap price tag, this is a solid play this week.

Devontae Booker ($7000) Broncos @ Raiders – Booker was a guy that was highly discussed last week and played by many. He ultimately had a bit of an underwhelming performance totaling 84 yards and scoring a TD. However, he left a couple touchdown’s out there and also coughed one up at the 1 yards line on a reception. It could have been a huge day and if so everyone would be on him this week. As is, he still is guaranteed a heavy workload and takes on a Raider defense that is 28th against the run this season.

Others I Like – Charcandrick West ($5600), Jay Ajayi ($7100), Carlos Hyde ($7000)
