TAYLOR DECKER

On the importance of today’s win with a short week coming up: “I don’t know if that’s the best question for me necessarily because I’ve never been in this sort of situation, so you know, it’s new to me to play with this quick of turnaround, but I’ll just follow the plan.”

On the impact of today’s win: “Yeah, I mean, I think you worded it well. It wasn’t a pretty win by any means, you know. The defense made a lot of plays for us. You know, us as an offense, us as an offensive line, we’ll watch the film and try to get better from it, but like I said it’s going to be a quick turnaround. Something I’m not used to, so I’m just going to follow the plan that’s put in front of me.”

On if he felt like the team was rusty coming off of a Bye Week: “I mean, you get out of your routine, definitely. You know, I think it’s always good to try to get your body back recovered for the extra stretch. We knew it was going to be tough coming off the Bye Week. A team coming up here, we’re back at home again, but you know, we needed to win it. So like I said, it wasn’t pretty, but we gutted it out and we were able to, you know, grind it out at the end.”
