On if there was rust coming off the Bye Week: “For us, I feel like we were a little bit sluggish kind of starting off. We got finally into a little bit of rhythm towards I guess the second quarter, second half or somewhere in there, here we were able to kind of get in a rhythm, keep it going and come out with a win.”

On how important it was to force turnovers today: “Teryl Austin put us in a challenge for us to either make a turnover or make something happen. So for us we want to go out there, whether they gave it to us or we took it, that’s what we wanted to do.”

On if winning a game by seven points feels comfortable given how this season has played out so far: “No win is ever a comfortable win. I mean, everything for us is always grind out to the end no matter what because either way they could have still gotten an opportunity to score the ball and tie the ballgame and all that. So for us it’s just a continuous grind until we get to zero-zero.”

On how important it was to hold Jacksonville to a three-and-out following an offensive score: “That’s big for us, especially defensively and to be able to get the ball back for the offense. Then they basically run the time out on the clock, so for us it’s just a confidence building for next game. We’ve just got to keep building every week and get better and better.”
