Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings: Game Time, TV, Radio, Injury Report
By Zac Snyder
With the Detroit Lions set to take on the Minnesota Vikings in week 12 of the 2016 NFL Season, here is all the important info you need for today’s game.
Are the Detroit Lions the favorites to win the NFC North? That’s been a hot topic for debate in recent weeks as the Lions have risen and their Thanksgiving Day opponent, the Minnesota Vikings, have fallen.
There is no doubt the Lions have done well to put themselves in a good position, but it feels too early to call them favorites. That could change by the end of the day.
With a win over the Vikings today, the Lions would effectively have a two game lead in the division – one game over the Vikings in the standings, plus the tiebreaker for a season sweep. A win puts the Lions firmly in the driver’s seat.
However, a Vikings win today should see them assume the title of division favorites. A win moves the Vikings a game in front of the Lions and negates any head-to-head tiebreaker advantage. The Vikings would be in good position to claim the next tiebreaker over the Lions by virtue of a better record in division games.

The winner today moves to 2-2 in division games so far this season with the loser falling to 1-3. The division race certainly isn’t over no matter who wins today, but whoever wins today will clearly have the inside track.
