More Defensive Lineman

Defensive end Hunter Dimick (#49, 6’3″, 272) is a rising prospect once again. In 2014, Dimick was ninth in the nation with 10 sacks on the season. A shoulder injury limited him three sacks over six games 2015. Now fully healthy, he is back to his old pass disrupting ways and is putting up some staggering statistics:

A projected fifth rounder heading into the season, Dimick could hear his name called possibly on day two. An ideal left defensive end, he’ll be on the Lions radar with his ability to generate consistent pressure.

Lining up opposite Dimick was right defensive end Kylie Fitts (#11, 6’4″, 265) before a September foot injury ended his season prematurely. A late day three prospect entering the season, this unfortunate injury makes him a fringe draftable prospect. Fitts has applied for a medical redshirt but those are often hard to come by for redshirt seniors.

The final member of the Utah stout defensive line is redshirt junior defensive tackle Filipo Mokofisi (#45, 6’3″, 280). Mokofisi plays inside for the Utes but he’s capable of kicking outside at times. With four sacks on the season, he’s shown he is capable of finding the quarterback.
