Vyacheslav Kozlov

Slava Kozlov, along with Sergei Fedorov, Viacheslav Fetisov, Vladimir Konstantinov, and Igor Larionov (who just missed the cut for this list) made up lauded group of Red Wings dubbed the “Russian Five”. The 45th overall draft pick in 1990, Slava earned a regular spot in the Red Wing’s lineup during the 1992-93 season (77 games, 73 points).

Though he never was awarded any individual hardware, nor was he invited to any all star games, Kozlov provided consistent secondary scoring, which made the Red Wings’ depth near impossible to match. Kozlov was a shoe in for at least 20 goals a season, and his point totals ranged anywhere between 40-70 points a season as a Red Wing.

By the time Kozlov departed the Wings in 2002, he had scored 202 goals and 415 points in 603 games; along with picking up two Stanley Cup Championships (1996-97, 1997-98).
