Playoff Implications Abound For Detroit Lions At New Orleans
Injury Report: Whitehead out, Levy questionable
Whitehead out, Levy, several starters questionable
Linebacker Tahir Whitehead was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report with a knee injury but was downgraded to out on Saturday after he did not travel with the team.
Five other Lions are still questionable for Sunday, headlined by linebacker DeAndre Levy, who was limited in practice all week, still working his way back from a knee injury. With Whitehead and Levy likely not playing, the Lions will need to rely on Josh Bynes and Antwione Williams.
Safety Don Carey (hamstring), wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr (thigh) and running back Theo Riddick (ankle) were all limited all week and are questionable. Defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (ankle) is questionable as well but was a full participant on Friday.
Armstead out, Ingram questionable for Saints
Only three players were given an injury designation by the Saints on Friday, most notably starting left tackle Terron Armstead (knee/quad), who did not practice all week. Running back Mark Ingram (toe) did not practice until being a limited participant on Friday and is listed as questionable. Running back Daniel Lasco (hamstring) is out after not practicing this week.
