Three quarters of the Detroit Lions’ 2016 season is over, and last quarter could see some players playing their final games as Lions.

The Detroit Lions are set to start the final quarter of their 2016 season. For some, this may be the final quarter in their Lions careers as every offseason brings about change for a variety of reasons. Some players have seen their roles reduced or wither away completely. Others have cap numbers that outsize their role on the team.

Bob Quinn has already put his mark on the Lions in less than a full calendar year on the job but you can bet more changes will be coming as he continues to shape the roster in his philosophy. Only so much change can be made in one year so it will be interesting to see what he does heading into year two.

Contract and performance considerations make it easy to identify players who may be playing their final games as members of the Detroit Lions. So here are ten current Lions who may not be back next season.
