On why the pass rush was so effective late in the game: “We just kept going. You know, beginning of the game we got a lot of max-protection, and toward the end of the game they started loosening up on that. So we just kept rushing and kept rushing. As the game went on, we started to wear them down a little bit. We were able to get some pressure toward the end.”

On the feeling of seeing the Bears have big plays negated by penalties late in the game: “Well, you know, initially you give up a big play and you try to get down there and play the next play. But like I said earlier, we were relentless rushing, so I wasn’t surprised when we got some holding calls out there because Ziggy (Ansah), Haloti (Ngata) and those guys were trying to get to the quarterback, so they had to stop them some way.”

On how the rest of the defense has supported DE Ezekiel Ansah this season: “Man, that’s our brother. We’re going to support him through thick and thin. He might not have the impact statistically, but he’s definitely still making an impact in the game. He’s still making plays for us, like the holding penalty he (got) called toward the end of the game.”
