Anquan Boldin

On today’s comeback win: “For us, I mean, we have no choice. I mean, we’re in it to win. In football there’s going to come times where things are not going to go your way, you know, have to fight through some things. But I think those are the times that it shows the true character of your team, what kind of guys that you have. A lot of teams around this league, guys will lay it down, especially in a situation that we were in. They get an interception for a touchdown, we go down by four. Instead of hanging our heads on the sideline, you know, everybody was, ‘Hey, let’s go ahead and get seven and let the defense take care of things from there.’ So I think it just shows the character that we have on this team.”

On his touchdown reception: “It was a mismatch that we were seeing early on in the game. Anytime we lined up in that formation they brought a safety down to cover me. We felt like it was a situation that we could take advantage of. Kind of told Jimbo (Jim Bob Cooter) what we were seeing and, you know, he called a good play.”

On what it means to be 10th on the NFL’s all-time receptions list: “At this point, nothing. I mean, you know, it’s probably for something later on down the road, but at this point I’m trying to win a championship, I can care less about stats.”
