Detroit Lions at New York Giants: Game Time, TV, Radio, Injury Report
By Zac Snyder
With the Detroit Lions set to take on the New York Giants in week 15 of the 2016 NFL Season, here is all the important info you need for today’s game.
No one would have guessed it a quarter of the way into the season but the Detroit Lions enter week 15 with a scenario by which they could clinch their first ever NFC North championship. The Lions were 1-3 after four games but have gone 8-1 since to sit at 9-4 going into today’s important road game against the New York Giants.
A win today coupled with a Green Bay Packers loss to the Chicago Bears would clinch the division for the Lions. A Lions loss and/or a Packers win means the division will remain up for grabs for at least another week.
While the immediate clinch scenario is for the division, today’s game also has big Wild Card implications should the Lions fail to win the North. A win over the Giants would see the Lions move a game ahead of the Giants in the conference standings as well as give them the head-to-head tiebreaker. A Giants win gives them the same advantage over the Lion.
