With the Detroit Lions set to take on the Dallas Cowboys in week 16 of the 2016 NFL Season, here is all the important info you need for today’s game.

With just the Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys remaining before week 16 is complete, the Lions’ playoff situations are beginning to really simplify. Thanks to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ loss to the New Orleans Saints on Christmas Eve, the Lions can guarantee themselves at least a Wild Card with a win over the Cowboys tonight.

There is nothing the Lions can do to win the NFC North at this point without beating the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field next week. And even if the Lions lose tonight, the will have a Wild Card scenario so that they could sneak into the playoffs even if they lose the NFC North championship to the Packers.

Whether Wild Card or division championship, the Lions now have a two-game stretch to finish the regular season to ensure their season keeps going.
