On what went wrong tonight: “I don’t know, I don’t think we stepped up to the moment in that second half. We just didn’t make enough plays, we didn’t stop them enough. We had too many breakdowns defensively. They schemed up a couple good things, but we still have to trust our rules and make those plays that we need to make.”

On why the team fell short on tonight’s big stage: “Yeah, I mean, I don’t know. It was just, second half we were flat. You know, we have to come out and not let that initial kind of rush of energy – You know, the first half we started out, we came out and had good energy. We kind of let that carry us a little bit. In the second half we just came out flat and we never really recovered. They came out and made some plays and we didn’t do a good enough job responding.”

On how concerning it is that the team has lost three-consecutive games heading into the playoffs: “Each week is a new week, you know, especially when you get in the playoffs. I think we’re in and that’s what we have to shift our focus to. We’ve been playing good ball in December, November the last few years. You know, the last couple weeks haven’t been that well, but the playoffs is a new start for us. The quicker we can put this behind us the better.”
