NFL Playoff Schedule: Lions at Seahawks Set for Saturday Night

The Detroit Lions’ head into the playoffs as the sixth seed in the NFC. Check out the full NFL playoff schedule for Wild Card Weekend.
The NFC North Championship Game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers didn’t go how Lions fans wanted and the Lions have a more difficult playoff road as a result.
Instead of earning the fourth seed and home game as a result of winning the NFC North, the Lions will be the sixth seed and hit the road to face the Seattle Seahawks. The Packers, meanwhile, get to head home from the regular season finale and stay there to take on the New York Giants at Lambeau Field.
Late in tonight’s game, the NBC broadcast unveiled the schedule for the opening round of the NFL playoffs, which was also put out via release by the NFL. The Lions will play their third-straight game in primetime as their Wild Card game against the Seahawks will take place in the Saturday night time slot. The Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans will kick off the playoffs on Saturday afternoon.
On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Miami Dolphins in the early afternoon window while Giants at Packers will wrap up Wild Card weekend in the late afternoon time slot.
