Free Agent Prediction

The Lions re-sign Josh Bynes and Jon Bostic, as well as add Zach Brown in free agency. I am expecting Bob Quinn to make an effort to bring multiple players to compete for six spots. Brown would ideally take a starting role along with Levy and Whitehead, while Bynes and Bostic compete for the fourth spot with Antwione Williams. Any rookies added would be challenging for Bostic and Armbrister’s jobs.

Draft Prediction

The Lions spend two day three draft picks on Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Steven Taylor. You build depth through the draft and both of these player have the potential to be starters down the road. Reeves-Maybin is an ideal WILL and insurance for Levy, while Taylor could follow the Whitehead path of splitting time between MIKE and SAM roles, taking his time to develop at a new position.
