The Michigan State Spartans will look to get back on track on Saturday as they host the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Breslin Center.
Four of the Michigan State Spartans‘ (14-10, 6-5) next five games will be at home, beginning with a contest with the Iowa Hawkeyes (14-11, 6-6) on Saturday as they look to recover from Tuesday’s drubbing on the road at Michigan.

Iowa’s season has been all over the place, including a loss to Omaha, wins over then-#25 Iowa State and #17 Purdue and three conference overtime games, two of which they lost.
Peter Jok leads the Hawkeyes with 20.9 points per game, including 28 points in Iowa’s 102-89 double-overtime loss at Minnesota on Wednesday. Iowa ranks fourth in the conference in rebounds with 39.4 per game as a team and three different Hawkeyes average at least five boards per game
The Spartans are coming off an embarrassing 86-57 loss to the Michigan Wolverines on Tuesday, which ended a two-game winning streak. Miles Bridges and Nick Ward continue to lead the way for the Spartans, accounting for over a third of Michigan State’s points and nearly a third of their team rebounds. Turnovers have been a problem for the Spartans all season long, as they average about 15 per game.
