The Michigan State Spartans will look to avenge their earlier loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes in their rematch on Tuesday at the Breslin Center.
The Michigan State Spartans (15-10, 7-5) will host the Ohio State Buckeyes (15-11, 5-8) on Tuesday as they look to free themselves from the tournament bubble.
The Buckeyes won their previous matchup with the Spartans, 72-67 in Columbus, but have split their eight games since then, leaving them on the outside looking in at the NCAA at-large field.

Trevor Thompson has developed into one of the Big Ten’s most productive big men, averaging 10.8 points and 9.4 rebounds in less than 23 minutes a game. Jae’Sean Tate leads Ohio State with 14.3 points per game and JaQuan Lyle adds 11.4 points while also averaging five assists.
The Michigan State Spartans have struggled to maintain possession in recent games, committing 21 turnovers in back to back contests. Miles Bridges continues to lead the team in scoring and rebounding (16.2 points, 8.3 rebounds per game) and picked up his fifth double-double in the Spartans’ win over Iowa on Saturday. Four freshmen scored in double digits in Saturday’s win.
