Michigan Basketball at Minnesota: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Matt Snyder
The Michigan basketball team takes on Minnesota on Sunday night. Here’s how you can find the game on TV or watch online.
The Michigan basketball team is flying high after big wins against Michigan State, Indiana, and Wisconsin, but they’ll run into another tough opponent on Sunday night in the form of the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The Wolverines and Gophers come into the game with identical 7-9 records in Big Ten play — tied for sixth place — but both would love to make a run at fourth place, which position receives a double by in the Big Ten Tournament. Nortwestern currently occupies the fourth position at 9-5 with Michigan State in fifth at 8-8. Michigan has a road game against Northwestern coming up in 10 days.
The resent run of good results for Michigan has helped their NCAA Tournament prospects, but they remain very much a bubble team. ESPN and CBS Sports‘ bracketology experts have the Wolverines in the field as No. 10 and No. 9 seeds respectively, but both sites denote them as being on the bubble. They still have work to do to solidify their position in the field.
With five regular season games remaining (plus the conference tournament), Michigan needs at least three wins to reach the 20-win threshold and feel good about their chances come Selection Sunday.
