The Michigan basketball team travels to take on Rutgers on Wednesday night. Here’s how you can find the game on TV or watch online.

The Michigan basketball team will head to the state of New Jersey for a road game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Wednesday evening.

The Wolverines let a winnable game slip away when the fell at Minnesota in overtime on Sunday night. All five Michigan starters recorded double-digit point totals but they ultimately weren’t able to keep up with the Golden Gophers in the extra session.

Even with the loss, Michigan was able to maintain their projected position in the tournament field. Both ESPN and CBS Sports currently project the Wolverines as a No. 9 seed but that positioning still puts them firmly on the bubble. They need to put Sunday’s disappointment behind them and keep finding was to pile up wins.

Tonight should present one such opportunity. Rutgers comes into the game with a 13-15 overall record, but they’ve struggled mightily in Big Ten play — they sit at the bottom of the standings with a 2-13 conference mark.

With only four regular season games remaining, Michigan needs to wring every last win out of their schedule.
