Seventh Round

This mock starts and ends with familiar names, this time with Michigan State’s Josiah Price adding tight end depth with the Lions’ last pick of the draft. He won’t stretch the field in the passing game but that’s Eric Ebron‘s job. The Lions just need to add depth at tight end with someone who can do a better job blocking than they currently have on the roster while bringing some dependability when asked to catch a few passes.

Price’s experience at Michigan State is perfect for what the Lions need as a second or third tight end and being able to pick him up in the seventh round is good value. Price didn’t get an invite to the NFL Combine, but don’t be surprised if he quickly shows that was a mistake.
